Electrical Codes and Regulations – Australian Standards – Adaptive

Description

This course aims to equip students with a comprehensive understanding of the regulatory frameworks that govern safe, legal, and efficient work practices in the Australian electrical industry.
Please note, this is a non-accredited course and upon successful completion, learners will receive a Certificate of Completion – Electrical Codes and Regulations – Australian Standards.

In this course, participants will develop the skills and knowledge as stipulated in the following:

  • Name relevant laws and regulations
  • Define consequences of safety breaches
  • Define employer and employee obligations
  • Identify when an employee can cease work
  • Explain links between regulations and governing bodies
  • Highlight structure and sections of safety regulations
  • Distinguish roles and responsibilities

Target learner group

All interested persons who carry out executive or planning activities on, in or around electrical installations and wish to obtain information on the legal requirements in Australia.
