The purpose of this module is to provide an electrical fundamentals review to ensure the participant understands how electricity is made and delivered in order to maintain a reliable electricity supply.
Please note, this is a non-accredited course and upon successful completion, learners will receive a Certificate of Completion – Electrical Fundamentals – AC
In this course, participants will develop the skills and knowledge as stipulated in the following:
- How power factor is managed
- Use of 3 phase systems
- The significance of phase rotation
- How frequency plays a part in the electric grid
- The key components in the process of generating and transmitting electricity
Target learner group
Operators, staff and contractors in high voltage power systems and industry dealing with AC systems.
