The aim of this module is to provide an understanding of the role human factors play in the electrical industry.
Effective communication is extremely important in electricity operations to ensure safety and efficiency.
This module covers forms of communication used in the industry, common causes for communications errors and factors disrupting communication.
Please note, this is a non-accredited course and upon successful completion, learners will receive a Certificate of Completion – Human Factors – Communications

In this course, participants will develop the skills and knowledge as stipulated in the following:

  • Identify the forms of communication
  • List the reasons for communication errors
  • Outline the features that degrade communication in electricity operations
  • Explain the importance of accurate record-keeping
  • Identify strengths that maintain effective communication
