Renewables and Emerging Technologies – Adaptive
Description
As the global energy landscape evolves, the shift toward renewable energy is becoming more urgent and transformative.
The purpose of this module is to introduce the concept and the reasons for using renewable energy sources, describe their impact on the energy network, and explore the challenges posed by the introduction of renewable energy and emerging technologies.
Please note, this is a non-accredited course and upon successful completion, learners will receive a Certificate of Completion – Renewables and Emerging Technologies.
In this course, participants will develop the skills and knowledge as stipulated in the following:
- Explain what renewable energy is
- Identify the reasons for using renewable energy
- Describe the impact of renewable energy on the network
- Identify the reasons for developing new technologies for the electrical supply system
- Identify the challenges associated with renewable energy and emerging technologies

Participants in the National Electricity Market involved with renewables and emerging technologies.
