Description
This module provides an overview of the impact SCADA systems have had on industrial sectors, such as the electricity supply industry.
Please note, this is a non-accredited course and upon successful completion, learners will receive a Certificate of Completion – SCADA Basic Awareness – Part A.
In this course, participants will develop the skills and knowledge as stipulated in the following:
- Explain the term SCADA
- Explain the process of implementation of SCADA systems
- Identify the difference between a SCADA system and a DCS system
- Describe the common elements of SCADA systems
- List the benefits of SCADA systems
- Identify vulnerabilities and alternatives

Persons in the electrical industry working with SCADA systems.
