This course has been designed by the Victorian Electricity Distribution Network (VEDN) to appropriately train individuals in site preparation for underground electrical infrastructure. If you are contracted or applying to be a contractor listed VEDN company completion of this training course is essential.

To give an understanding of work planning, site preparation and legislation and regulations involved in prior to installation of underground electrical infrastructure.

On successful completion of the course a participant will be able to:
Specific legislation, regulations, codes of practice and standards
Construction plans, resource and environmental requirements
Trenching, pit installation, cable and conduit installation requirements
Cable protection and back fill requirements
Public lighting column and substation installation requirements.
