The Position

We are looking for an experienced Boiler and Turbine Trainer and Assessor to join our team. In this role, you will be required to:

• Conduct competency-based training and assessment aligned with national standards.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulation.
• Support the development and upkeep of courseware materials
• Engage in Train the Trainer, audit programs and ongoing professional development.
• Advocate for Health, Safety, and Environmental initiatives
• Delivering training and conducting High Risk Work License assessments for the following three Units of Competency:

1. MSMBLIC001 – License to operate a standard boiler
2. MSMBLIC002 – License to operate an advanced boiler
3. UEPOPL001A – License to operate a steam turbine

The Person

The ideal applicant will have:

• Hands on experience in the operation and maintenance of boiler and/or turbines in power generation sites or industrial settings.
• Hold one or more current High Risk Work Licenses for the relevant plant – BS, BA & TO.
• Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE 40116/40122 or equivalent).
• Additionally, you will have a sound understanding for HSE procedures and compliance regimes.
• Ability to Travel Nationally. 
• Possess excellent communication skills with the flexibility to tailor training to meet the unique needs of students
• Exhibit strong collaboration and teamwork abilities.

Qualifications:

• A Trade or Engineering qualification relevant to pressure equipment plant.
