Power Awareness Refresher (Telecommunications Workers)
Description
With the widespread rollout of the National Broadband Network (NBN) comes many job opportunities in the telecommunications industry. Our Telecommunications and NBN training – Power awareness course is designed for those beginning their career in telecommunications or looking to add to the experience they already have. It gives students an industry accredited certificate with a focus on working safely near live electrical infrastructure as well as workplace specific first aid training.
Our Power Awareness course is designed to meet the safety training requirements established by the telecommunications industry. It will teach you to develop and follow safe work practices surrounding the installation of above or below ground telecommunications cables.
Note: This course does not cover the performance of rescue procedures from an Elevating Work Platform (EWP) as standard, but it can be added and completed within the day as an optional extra.

Our Power Awareness Refresher program runs over one day.

Full course (4 to 6 units): $330
Full course + optional EWP units: $400
Half course (1 to 3 units): $175
