Course aim
The course aim is to provide participants with a broad understanding of High Voltage plant and the hazards associated with it.
Target learner group
Target Group: Electrical and non-electrical personnel requiring access to high voltage environments, such as switchrooms or substations – with little or no prior HV experience.
Learning outcomes
- Identify risks, procedures and controls related to HV equipment
- Understand the importance of working under supervision
- Learn entry and exit requirements for HV areas
- Gain awareness of emergency procedures
