This module provides an overview of the role of SCADA systems in workflows, cross functional organizational interaction best practice identification.
Please note, this is a non-accredited course and upon successful completion, learners will receive a Certificate of Completion – SCADA Basic Awareness – Part B.
In this course, participants will develop the skills and knowledge as stipulated in the following:
- Explain the role of SCADA in operator workflows and decision-making process
- Explain how SCADA interacts with other users within an organisation
- Identify key operational considerations and reporting requirements in SCADA systems
- Identify best practices to ensure safety when using SCADA systems
- List potential SCADA failures and their causes
